I had gone out with Cynthia and partied until the early morning hours. Walked Cynthia back to her apartment in Jìng’ān district where she ordered me a ride-share back to Yángpǔ.
At this point Ricky and his new wife, Kate, had departed for their honeymoon. Ricky graciously allowed me to stay at his apartment for the duration of my stay. I also watched his dog, PaoPao, while staying there. Once I got back to the apartment I hooked PaoPao up to her leash and took her out for a walk around the still-sleeping city.
I walked PaoPao along our “usual” route: right down the sidewalk to a residential avenue flanked by trees, play installations, and exercise equipment.
It had rained in Yángpǔ while I’d been out. It may have even still been sprinkling, if I recall. Either way, the rain had left behind still puddles across the ground which, as puddles regularly do, provided great opportunities to enhance otherwise normal photos with reflections.
PaoPao and I made our way back to Ricky’s apartment and I went to sleep.
